Kia ora! I’m Sheneè Thomassen.

My name is Sheneè Thomassen, and I am originally from Whangārei. I’ve spent the past six years in Tāmaki Makaurau, Auckland, and have thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in its creative and professional environment.

I have graduated from Auckland Media Design School with a certificate in digital creativity and a Bachelor of Media Design. Over the past four years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with small and large New Zealand brands and a boutique design studio, honing my skills in both graphic and user experience (UX) design. Currently, I am the sole designer at ProCare, New Zealand’s largest Primary Health Organisation (PHO), where I manage all aspects of the design process—from visual design to some upcoming user interface (UI) and UX projects.

me (Sheneè).

I believe it is the thinking behind the screen that makes for good design, conversations with clients to get an idea of what they want (or don't want), and the ability to translate this with a mix of empathy, patience, creativity, and experience into something amazing.

Graphic design is a fulfilling and dynamic career that allows me to use my creativity and problem-solving skills to make a meaningful impact through visual communication.

My passion for user experience design stems from a combination of creativity, problem-solving, and a desire to make technology more accessible and user-friendly for everyone.

My love for UI design comes from a combination of creative expression, problem-solving, impact, and a desire for continuous learning and growth.

I am deeply committed to customer experience design, as it provides the opportunity to positively influence individuals' lives. By crafting exceptional customer experiences, we enhance the ease and enjoyment of interactions with a business, thereby elevating overall quality of life.
